June 2023 Training Overview: Mastery, Strength and Community

This June, we’re focusing on improving bodyweight exercises like pull-ups, handstands, ring work, and introducing rope climbs and Nordic hamstring curls. We’re also perfecting barbell movements, testing progress in upper body pull, ring skills, and core and neurological strength. Plus, don’t miss our community class on June 10th, and the start of our Summer Series with “Burnout” outdoor HIIT classes and the “UAC Run Club” combining short runs and strength training.

May was a remarkable month for achievements at Urban Athletic Club Shaw (UAC), marked by our athletes leveling up in various categories: 21 in Front Squat, 19 in Kettlebell, 17 in Flexibility, 12 in Upper/Lower Endurance, and 15 in Upper Body Push. Eleven members impressively elevated their overall fitness level and the community celebrated a staggering 182 personal records.
