The Electricity Discipline: Weightlifting – The Powerhouse

In our house analogy, think of weightlifting as the electrical system—the powerhouse that fuels every aspect of your physical well-being. This month, we’ll focus on various weightlifting techniques, honing your power and strength. From clean lifts to jerks, we’ll ensure you leave each session feeling energized and powerful, just like how electricity powers a house.

The System: Plumbing

Just as plumbing moves water through a house, in our bodies, the cardiovascular and muscular systems work to pump blood through our muscles. This month, the emphasis will be on ‘plumbing’, focusing on exercises that improve blood flow and energize your muscles. This is all about creating a system that works fluidly and efficiently so you can perform at your best.

The Progression: Week-to-Week Weightlifting Improvements

Progression is the cornerstone of any fitness journey. This month, our progression theme is weightlifting. Whether you’re lifting a barbell for the first time or looking to break your previous records, we’ll help you track your week-to-week improvements on the clean, the clean and jerk, the jerk, back squats, deadlifts, and front squats.

Virtuosity: Dumbbells and Unilateral Work

Virtuosity is about mastering the subtleties of particular skills. This October, we are shining a spotlight on dumbbell and unilateral exercises. Get ready to challenge your stability and core strength with single-leg and single-arm movements. Our coaches will be there to guide you through the complex intricacies of these challenging workouts.

Fun Workouts: Classic Workouts

We’re bringing back some classic workouts to keep the spirit high and the vibe fun. These are timeless routines that have proven effective time and again. So, whether you’re a newbie or a UAC veteran, these classic workouts promise lots of fun and serious calorie burning. First up? DT

We believe in tracking performance to mark improvement. Each week, you’ll progress on your weightlifting performance, rowing skills, and aerobic power intervals. This will help us to customize your future workouts and provide focused coaching to help you level up by the final week of October’s programming.
