Discipline Meets Momentum
This month, we’re harnessing the power of pressing, immediately following October’s Pulling Theme (sooo many Level Ups!).
Our Electricity Discipline is pressing – Overhead, Bench, Push-ups, and Handstands. We will refine fundamentals while layering in complexity. Our LIT methodology—Levels, Intent, Themes—is front and center. Whether you’re building on your Weightlifting to Front Squat combo in a Tuesday clean complex or grinding through a HYROX sled push on Sunday, every session is intentional, individualized, and part of a bigger system.
Themes
- Electricty Discipline – Weightlifting
- System – Plumbing
- Progression – Press
- Virtuosity – Db/UniLateral
- Fun – Benchmark
- Quality – Balance
- Assessments- UB Push, U/L Endurance
At Urban Athletic Club, these aren’t just buzzwords—they’re strategic pillars guiding every rep, set, and movement pattern in November. A progressive, theme-driven approach isn’t just smart programming—it’s what makes results stick. When we lead with clear themes, we give your training context: Electricity Discipline is our focus on power (the “house analogy” from Level Merthod) wher you work on lifting and moving under control, Virtuosity ensures you’re not skipping over the basics, and System work builds your engine, sometimes more Cardiorespiratory and others more Cardiovascular. These themes rotate monthly not for novelty’s sake, but to emphasize structured variety—addressing different physiological systems, movement patterns, and energy demands across the year. It’s how we stay aligned with the Level Method LIT philosophy: personalized, intentional, and grounded in long-term progression. With focused monthly themes, you’re not just working out. You’re building a body—and a mindset—that’s built to last.
