Urban Athletic Club’s own Yomi Adebayo will step into the ring for Haymakers for Hope at The Anthem in Washington DC on September 25, 2024, raising funds for cancer research, awareness, and survivorship programs. On September 25, Yomi Adebayo—Urban Athletic Club member, part-time coach, and friend, is stepping into the boxing ring for a cause that hits close to home. He’s fighting in Haymakers for Hope, a charity boxing event raising funds for cancer research and survivorship programs.
About Haymakers for Hope: Founded in 2011, this 501(c)(3) empowers everyday people to take on extraordinary challenges—whether it’s boxing, running, or diving into icy waters—to raise money for cancer research, care, and awareness.
Yami’s Big Goal: Raise $10,000 for cancer research (already 75% there!) and represent UAC with grit, courage, and heart.
